Chief Investment Officer at Brown Shipley
With the UK election just a few months away, we take out the economic thermometer to measure the temperature of the economy, before considering the likely outcome of the ballot and what this means for interest rates, investment intentions and asset prices around the world.
Graduating with a 1st in Maths and Theoretical Physics from Liverpool University in 1997, Kevin joined Brown Shipley in May 1998, during which time he has managed a number of equity mandates ranging from technology to European media. Specialising in fixed income in 2001, Kevin took control of the Brown Shipley Sterling Bond Fund in September of that year and continues to manage the fund to this day. More recently, Kevin was appointed CIO at Brown Shipley, taking responsibility for investment research and performance at the bank whilst also sitting on the Group Asset Allocation Committee (GAAC).
He holds the CFA Charter status, is a Chartered member of the Securities Institute and is a regular commentator on BBC, CNBC, Bloomberg and other media outlets.
