Have you got what it takes?

November 28, 2017

The Seashell Trust is our charity partner and we like to help them fundraise where we can, especially by sharing their events that may be of interest to our audience.

Their events not only give them a fantastic opportunity to fundraise but also to increase awareness of their cause. Many businesses also use it as a chance to bring clients to network in a more informal setting.  Funds raised from events enable the students to enjoy experiences many of us take for granted.

The next two major events in their calendar for 2018 are Strictly Seashell and White Collar Boxing, for which they are seeking sponsors and participants.  Sponsors will align themselves with other premium brands and organisations, with excellent branding and promotional opportunities.

Seashell White Collar Boxing , Thursday 22nd March 2018

The charity has partnered with Manchester Maccabi to host an evening of white collar boxing.  Up to 400 guests made up of supporters of both charities are expected to attend what promises to be a great night of fundraising.  Starting with a drinks reception and followed by a fabulous four course dinner, amateur boxers from the business world will fight it out in aid of Seashell Trust and Manchester Maccabi.  Having trained for 8 weeks, these business heavyweights will have really been put through their paces!

Is it time to throw down the gloves?

Strictly Seashell, Saturday 28th April 2018

Seashell Trust has held an annual charity ball for the past 21 years, with the support of up to 300 guests made up of both local high net worth individuals and a number of local and national corporates.  In 2018 they are ringing the changes by introducing a Strictly Come Dancing style element to proceedings.

Seashell is recruiting amateur dancers from the business community; people who are at the top of their game in the corporate world will undertake 8 weeks of dance lessons to learn one dance which they will perform on the night, competing against their peers.  Starting with a drinks reception followed by a sumptuous four course dinner, the audience will not only watch all of the performances, but will have a chance to vote for their ‘People’s Champion’.

Could you channel your inner Anton or Ola?
